Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with options for 10-hour and 12-hour shifts; mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for each procedure
Assist surgeons during CVOR cases including CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
Support a wide range of specialties from total joints and spine to vascular and trauma
Collaborate closely with the OR team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner Surginet

Qualifications

Current Surgical Tech certification or license
Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine procedures
Comfortable working in both CVOR and Main OR settings
Ability to take 1-2 weeknight calls per week and occasional weekend call

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner Surginet EMR proficiency
Phillips Telemetry monitoring
Scrub and assist across multiple surgical specialties
Quick adaptation to new cases and team dynamics
