Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate a wide variety of surgical cases including CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed to support patient flow
Precept new staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning
Respond to on-call needs with a 30-minute arrival window to keep cases moving smoothly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in multiple specialties including CV, Neuro, Ortho, and General
Robotics experience with both Mako and DaVinci systems preferred
Strong references and reliability are essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic-assisted procedures
Comfort with ortho trauma, total joints, and open belly cases
Familiarity with DaVinci and Mako robotic platforms
Ability to scrub is a plus but not required
Willingness to float between two nearby campuses
