Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to PCU patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions closely
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or step-down experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Knowledge of PCU protocols and equipment
• Excellent patient assessment skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
