Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
• Monitor vital signs, level of consciousness, and pain status during recovery
• Deliver specialized recovery care for patients following cardiac catheterization procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, smooth transitions
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and next steps
• Quickly identify and respond to changes in patient condition with confidence

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience required
• Cath Lab recovery experience is a must
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols and cardiac recovery
• Comfortable with electronic health records and monitoring equipment
• Calm and composed in fast-paced environments
