Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to medical acute care patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and IV therapies while monitoring patient conditions
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately using Meditech EMR
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Active RN license for Colorado or compact state
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus
• High-energy personality with a hard-working, fun attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing practices
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR system
• Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and common drips like heparin
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable using Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines
