Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, flexible shifts including days, evenings, and nights as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure best outcomes
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Previous Med/Surg experience preferred but not required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
ACLS certification preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients effectively
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Empathy and dedication to patient advocacy
