Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage 1-2 times per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre-operative and post-anesthesia care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
- Assist with a wide variety of body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
- Collaborate with IR techs and physicians to deliver seamless patient experiences from admission through recovery
- Document thoroughly in Cerner while ensuring every patient feels informed and cared for
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Pre-op, PACU, or ICU background with interventional radiology experience strongly preferred
- Cerner EMR experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for both outpatient and critical care patients
- Comfort managing vents and tele patients
- Excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced procedural environment
