LPN – UHC Staffing

LPN

Location: Traverse City, Michigan

Start Date: 06-16-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 or 48 hours guaranteed, every other weekend and holiday coverage required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Supervise nursing assistants and support staff to ensure excellent outcomes
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for every resident
Mentor Villa's core values of Exceptional Care, Passionate Service, and Unexpected Luxury
Collaborate with the care team under the guidance of Unit Manager, ADON, or DON

Qualifications

Active Michigan LPN license
BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Minimum two years of SNF/LTC or Med Surg experience
Previous travel experience required
COVID-19 vaccination (medical and religious exemptions considered case-by-case)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and care plan implementation
Supervision of nursing support staff
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to float to units where experienced
Flexible scheduling mindset
