Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM with some charge responsibilities after hours (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM or 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in the cardiovascular operating room performing open heart and vascular procedures
Assist anesthesia with induction and ensure smooth patient transitions from pre-op to PACU or inpatient units
Take on charge responsibilities during designated after-hours periods
Float to the Main OR on lower volume days to support the broader surgical team
Provide exceptional care during both open and percutaneous vascular procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Strong cardiovascular OR experience strongly preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid operating suite environment
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing and circulating for cardiovascular procedures
Familiarity with open heart and both open and percutaneous vascular surgeries
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to adapt to varying daily case volumes and OR assignments
Commitment to maintaining professional standards including fingernail policy compliance
