Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, expert care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and both Routine and Intermediate Nursery settings
Independently manage all phases of patient care while serving as a reliable backup for your fellow nurses
Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips to keep moms and babies safe and comfortable
Monitor fetal strips on the central system and respond quickly to any changes
Float as a helping hand to other units when the census shifts, bringing your versatile skills wherever they're needed most

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or eligibility for the 90-day emergency license
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Strong, independent skills in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Comfort working with a minimum of two nurses on the unit at all times

Knowledge & Skills

AWHONN-aligned patient ratios
Central fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry
Bubble CPAP and stabilization/transfer ventilator experience
Ability to pivot quickly between busy and slow periods
Team-first attitude with equal dependability among all RNs
