Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM with rotating weekends and call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room with precision and care for each procedure
Assist surgeons and the surgical team as the essential right-hand during operations
Maintain sterile technique to keep every patient safe and protected
Collaborate closely with anesthesia, nursing, and tech colleagues for seamless care
Support a variety of surgical cases from general procedures to specialized interventions

Qualifications

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency with Cerner Surginet electronic medical records
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with Phillips telemetry and Draeger ventilation equipment
Understanding of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
Comfort working in both general and specialized OR settings
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
