Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support postpartum recovery and educate new parents on newborn care
Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
Respond quickly and confidently to neonatal emergencies with your NRP training
Build meaningful connections with patients in a close-knit rural community

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural setting with limited resources

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
Experience with EFM systems and OB Trace Vue monitoring
Skilled in titrating drips and managing high-risk pregnancies
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt quickly in a smaller facility environment
