Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support healthy mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery
Assist with neonatal resuscitation and manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow therapies
Circulate during C-sections to ensure safe delivery for newborns
Collaborate with providers and teammates in a tight-knit rural hospital setting

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural facility with limited NICU access

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of LDRP nursing and postpartum care
Experience with OB Trace Vue fetal monitoring system
Ability to titrate drips and respond quickly to changing patient needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float to Med-Surg or ED as a helping hand when needed
