Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Self-scheduling with weekend and holiday requirements, 36 hours per week, plus 18 hours of call every 6 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a high-risk L&D setting
Circulate in the OR for C-Sections and support safe surgical outcomes
Titrate critical drips such as oxytocin and magnesium sulfate with precision
Monitor fetal strips and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Float to postpartum when needed to support the entire mother-baby unit
Collaborate with surgical techs, anesthesia, and APPs to deliver seamless care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience
Proven ability to circulate C-Sections in the operating room
Experience titrating drips including oxytocin and magnesium sulfate

Knowledge & Skills

Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Mother Baby expertise
C-Section circulation and OR support
Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of critical medications
Floating comfortably between L&D and postpartum units
