Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to adult ICU patients including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and respiratory distress cases
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications with precision and safety
Manage ventilators from nasal cannula support through full mechanical ventilation
Interpret and document telemetry strips while collaborating with tele tech oversight
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed, maintaining excellent patient ratios and care quality
Respond within 30 minutes when called in from on-call status to support critical patient needs

Qualifications

Current RN license and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong telemetry monitoring, drip titration, and ventilator management experience
Valid driver's license at time of submittal to confirm travel eligibility
Willingness to work every other weekend and a minimum of two holidays during the contract

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Safe titration of cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips
Ventilator management from basic oxygen delivery to full support
Floating comfortably between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg units
Quick response mindset for on-call situations
