Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to coordinate comprehensive patient care across multiple specialty clinics
• Provide pre and post-operative education for cardiology and EP procedures to help patients feel confident and prepared
• Educate patients about their cardiovascular conditions and empower them with self-monitoring techniques and resources
• Triage patient symptoms and arrhythmias appropriately while consulting with specialists per established protocols
• Support patients through transition of care management ensuring medications and discharge instructions are clearly understood
• Review daily lab results and clinical worklists to maintain seamless patient care coordination

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse California license required
• Minimum two years of cardiovascular clinic or hospital nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Two years of critical care or cardiac inpatient unit experience preferred
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred

Education

• BSN degree highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong nursing assessment and care coordination abilities
• Excellent patient education and communication skills
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
• Proficiency in triaging complex clinical situations
• Electronic health record documentation expertise
