Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
• Position patients accurately and ensure their safety and comfort throughout exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver precise diagnostic results
• Maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean, calibrated, and ready for use
• Document procedures and patient information meticulously in the medical record
• Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• Current Minnesota state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required
• Previous experience as a Rad Tech in a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent patient care skills and a compassionate, professional demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with digital radiography systems and PACS
• Understanding of radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and team members
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
