Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM) with required call: one weekday shift per week 04:00 PM - 07:00 AM, one three-day weekend (Fri-Sun) per month with Fri 04:00 PM - 07:00 AM and Sat-Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures like TIPS and endovascular interventions
Set up specialized equipment and maintain sterile fields during critical cases
Execute venous access PICC lines ports and chest tube placements with precision
Prep access sites and assist in complex genitourinary and vascular studies
Stock supplies maintain inventory and operate fluoroscopy ultrasound systems expertly
Collaborate in special procedures across Radiology and Cath Lab settings

Qualifications

2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures
ARRT certification BLS and active California state license required
Proficiency in Epic charting system
Weekend availability essential with on-call commitment

Education

ARRT certification and relevant radiologic technology training

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in venous access central lines PICC maintenance and port management
Skilled in embolization thrombolysis TIPS chest tube placement and stents
Familiar with fluoroscopy ultrasound Philips systems and sterile technique
Strong in isolation precautions rapid response and equipment maintenance
