Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy services that restore function, mobility, and confidence in every patient you treat.
• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients, creating personalized plans that make real progress possible.
• Develop and update treatment and discharge plans to keep care on track from day one to done.
• Document services accurately and timely, ensuring every step is captured for seamless, safe care.
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs, mentoring the team while staying true to your state's practice acts.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams to build a supportive circle around each patient.
• Stay laser-focused on safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards to protect everyone in your care.

Qualifications

• You're a graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• You hold an active Maine Physical Therapy license or are ready to obtain one
• You bring strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills to every patient interaction
• You're flexible, adaptable, and ready to thrive in different facilities and schedules

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient care planning and functional mobility training
• Clinical documentation and record keeping
• Supervision and mentoring of support staff
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and family education
• Safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Adaptability in fast-changing clinical environments
