Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise and support PTAs and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for comprehensive care
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active Alabama state PT license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
• A passion for helping others achieve their best quality of life

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in physical therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Proficient in patient evaluation and functional mobility training
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for PT practice
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
