Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions and exercises as outlined in the PT plan of care
• Help patients restore mobility, improve function, and achieve their treatment goals
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Communicate closely with the supervising PT to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active Virginia state PTA license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
