Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
• Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Florida, or eligibility to obtain one
• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is a plus - new grads welcome to apply!
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises
• Ability to document accurately and manage time effectively
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Good physical stamina for assisting patients
