Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and preparedness
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take dental X-rays and impressions as directed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited program
• X-ray certification (RHS) and familiarity with dental software
• Previous experience in orthodontics preferred
• BLS certification required
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Proficiency with Denticon software
