Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and assess oral health
• Take and develop dental x-rays to support diagnostic needs
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately
• Collaborate with dentists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygiene license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Familiarity with dental software and record keeping systems
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Skill in patient education and building rapport with diverse populations
