Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis to keep patients' smiles healthy
• Screen patients for oral diseases and educate them on proper oral hygiene
• Take dental X-rays and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Assist dentists during procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Comfort and reassure patients, especially those with dental anxiety

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene is a plus
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Knowledge of dental radiography and safety standards
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
