Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to support accurate diagnoses
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and proper care of braces and other orthodontic appliances
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment planning
• Provide outstanding patient care and comfort throughout their visit

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Valid radiography (X-ray) certification
• Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic setting is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, caring demeanor
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with dental software for scheduling and record keeping
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures, brackets, wires, and appliances
• Strong patient interaction and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
