Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxes during 30-minute appointments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health histories
• Collaborate with the dental assistant and dentist to ensure a smooth patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Skilled in patient assessment and oral health education
• Proficient with dental software and patient charting
• Detail-oriented with a focus on infection control
