Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible days, 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM, as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists during examinations and procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

Current Orthodontic Dental Assisting certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in orthodontic setting is a plus
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in orthodontic procedures and terminology
Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using dental software and digital imaging systems
