Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment before each surgery
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field during procedures
• Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Monitor and restock surgical supplies to keep the OR ready for every case
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR Tech experience
• Ability to pass Alaska state background check and fingerprinting requirements
• Must be able to start on or after August 10, 2026
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
• Willingness to work a steady 8-hour day shift schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons during operations
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to handle a variety of surgical cases
