Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to ensure quality care
• Document patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes accurately
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients
• Respond to patient needs promptly and advocate for their well-being

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Maine
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented religious/medical exemption
• Valid government-issued photo ID (required for registry placement)
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring

• Infection control and safety protocols
