Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible shifts as needed, including afternoon/evening (2:45 PM - 11:15 PM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Monitor patient health and document changes accurately
Educate patients and families on health management

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in the state of Maine
Current CPR certification (BLS)
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to assess patient needs and respond appropriately
Comfort using electronic health records (EHR)
