Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the rehabilitation department and ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for residents
• Lead and mentor a team of therapists and rehab assistants
• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment programs as needed
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in a rehabilitation leadership role
• Strong understanding of long-term care and skilled nursing regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehab therapy techniques and modalities
• Leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
• Ability to assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid regulations
