Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide quality, professional nursing care to Med/Surg and EICU patients
• Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care and delegate appropriately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge needs
• Respond to life-threatening situations with confidence and skill
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with protocols

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Two-year nursing degree (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 1 month of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification encouraged
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable caring for both Med/Surg and EICU patients

Education

• Two-year degree in nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Intermediate computer proficiency and EMR documentation skills
• Excellent clinical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize care for multiple patients
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team collaboration
• Understanding of infection control and universal precautions
