Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during periodontal procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Experience in periodontal assisting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency with dental software and record-keeping
- Aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Patient management and customer service skills
- Team collaboration and adaptability
