Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough dental cleanings and patient education
- Assess oral health conditions and document findings
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
- Assist dentist during procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- Graduate from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures and hygiene best practices
- Infection control and sterilization protocols
- Proficiency with dental software and x-ray equipment
- Patient-centered approach with attention to detail
