Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the endodontist during a variety of procedures including root canals and surgical treatments
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to ensure a safe, clean environment
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort and smooth workflow
Manage patient records and update medical histories
Assist with patient education regarding post-operative care

Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification or license as required by Maryland state regulations
Experience in endodontics or a strong desire to learn specialty procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty practice

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dental assisting techniques and sterilization protocols
Familiarity with dental software for patient records and scheduling
Knowledge of radiographic procedures and safety standards
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Team player with a positive attitude ready to support a busy endodontic practice
