Shift Type: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM (single day assignment)

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures to ensure efficient patient care
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Provide patients with post-operative instructions and education
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

Active Dental Assistant certification or registration in Maryland (or willing to obtain)
Prior dental assisting experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
CPR/BLS certification a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in dental terminology and procedures
Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
Comfortable using dental software and taking X-rays
Ability to work efficiently under the supervision of a dentist
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
