Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver primary nursing care with compassion and precision
Monitor telemetry for patient safety and quick response
Interpret telemetry strips to guide critical decisions
Perform fingerstick blood sugar checks with accuracy
Collaborate in a dynamic 15-bed Progressive Care Unit
Float to acute units to make a broader impact

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
At least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year
Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications preferred

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Primary nursing care expertise
Telemetry monitoring and strip reading proficiency
Fingerstick blood sugar management
Hospital acute care background
Comfort with Meditech charting, Pyxis medications, BIPAP, and continuous cardiac monitoring
