Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona

Start Date: 06-01-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour Night shifts, typically 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on-call shift per week. Must be flexible for days, weekends, and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients on a 20-bed Med-Surg unit
Maintain excellent staffing ratios for optimal patient outcomes
Assist in flu immunization clinics and float to other departments when qualified
Attend staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative team environment
Handle diverse tasks from patient loads to call light support with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Three years of med-surg experience plus one year pediatric experience
Comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients

Education

RN degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg unit expertise
Adult and pediatric patient care
Flexibility for varying shifts and floating assignments
