Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients from diagnosis through remission
• Manage drips like chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix with confidence
• Collaborate with a dynamic team on a 27-bed mixed PCU/MedSurg unit
• Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
• Float to similar PCU and MedSurg units while maintaining same-level care
• Titrate insulin and cardizem as needed in this fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU, Oncology, or MedSurg experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC preferred along with chemotherapy certification
• Comfortable with EPIC EMR, ideally within the last 6 months
• Valid driver's license and live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Team player ready to bring a smile and genuine care every shift

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in PCU and oncology patient care
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000
• Familiarity with ventilators and ICP monitoring with real-time training available
• Skills in managing common drips and chemotherapy administration
• Strong teamwork and patient-centered approach in diverse settings
