Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular, general, orthopedic, and robotic surgical procedures
• Scrub for CV surgeries including CABGs, mitral valve replacements, femoral bypasses, and thrombectomies
• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure all instruments and supplies are ready before each case
• Assist in a variety of procedures such as neuro/spine, GYN, urology, ENT, and podiatry surgeries
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols throughout every operation
• Participate in on-call coverage to provide additional support for emergency cases

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification
• At least 1 year of experience as a surgical technologist
• Must have experience scrubbing CV surgical cases and general surgery procedures
• Preferred: Ortho scrub skills, robotic surgery scrub skills, and CV scrub experience
• A great attitude and a genuine desire to work as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with MediTech EMR
• Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instruments, and OR procedures
• Ability to scrub CV, general, ortho, robotic, GYN, urology, ENT, and podiatry cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying case loads and on-call needs
