Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Support nursing team with documentation and timely communication about patient needs
Build rapport with residents and families — bring kindness and professionalism to every interaction

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — must be valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills — strong bedside manner
Basic charting and documentation skills
