Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (schedule TBD)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
Support documentation and care plans accurately and timely
Participate in team huddles and contribute to quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification (Pennsylvania) or eligibility to obtain one
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Demonstrated compassion, strong communication, and reliable attendance
Willingness to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Previous experience as a nursing assistant preferred but new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and infection control practices
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Basic charting and attention to detail
