Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff promptly
Support safe feeding and toileting routines while promoting dignity and independence
Document care accurately and participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet each resident’s care goals
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (completion of an approved CNA program)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling techniques
Effective verbal and written communication with residents and team members
Time management, teamwork, and attention to detail
