Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient observations
Support mobility and safe transfers, promoting independence when possible
Communicate changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (valid in Pennsylvania)
Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
Ability to work scheduled 8-hour shifts and perform physical aspects of patient care
Up-to-date immunizations and any facility-required screenings (to be completed prior to start)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Assisting with ADLs and mobility support
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic documentation and following care plans
