Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to prevent injury
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control practices
Document care activities clearly and collaborate with nursing staff on care plans
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through kind communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring bedside manner
Dependable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and reporting
Infection control and proper use of PPE
Safe transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Clear documentation and communication with clinical teams
Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced care setting
