Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Document resident care and observations clearly in facility records
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant); PA state certification preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (see education section)
Current basic health requirements per facility policy (e.g., TB screening, immunizations)
Clear background check and drug screening as required by the facility
Reliable, patient-focused, and able to work effectively within a team
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
State CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) care
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
Infection control and resident safety practices
Good communication skills with residents, families, and team members
Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols reliably
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
