Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor residents’ condition and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Take and record vital signs accurately and consistently
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document resident care and observations clearly in facility records
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant); PA state certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (see education section)
- Current basic health requirements per facility policy (e.g., TB screening, immunizations)
- Clear background check and drug screening as required by the facility
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to work effectively within a team
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State CNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) care
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
- Infection control and resident safety practices
- Good communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols reliably
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
