Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Document care and observations accurately and timely
Support safe transfer and ambulation practices to prevent falls
Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
State licensure or registration as applicable for Pennsylvania
Previous experience in long-term care or clinical setting is a plus
Comfortable with physical aspects of patient care and safe lifting practices
Strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and infection control practices
Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
Good charting and documentation skills
Strong patient-focused interpersonal skills and teamwork
Familiarity with patient transfer techniques and mobility assistance
