Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and observe residents for changes in condition
Assist with safe transfers, mobility support, and proper positioning
Document care accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification valid in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Reliable, compassionate, and comfortable working as part of a team in long-term care
Prior experience in a nursing home or long-term care setting is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; must have CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in personal care tasks and assisting with ADLs
Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Knowledge of infection control and basic safety procedures
Good communication and interpersonal skills with residents and coworkers
Organized documentation habits and basic EMR familiarity preferred
Ability to follow care plans and collaborate with licensed nursing staff
