Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Perform vital signs, observations, and routine clinical tasks accurately and timely
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and patient handling techniques
Document patient care and communicate changes in condition to the nursing team
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality resident care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain state certification
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable attendance and professionalism

Education

High school diploma or GED and successful completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care, bathing, feeding, and toileting assistance
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and simple clinical observations
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe handling procedures
Good documentation and charting practices
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
