Location: Boise, Idaho

Start Date: 09-13-2026

End Date: 12-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, block schedule (specific shift times to be confirmed at facility)

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile operating room environments
Assist surgeons during trauma, neuro, and ortho procedures
Sterilize and organize surgical instruments and equipment
Monitor and maintain sterile field throughout surgeries
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
NBSTSA or NCCT certification accepted
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year experience in trauma, neuro, and ortho surgery
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
Knowledge of trauma, neuro, and ortho surgical procedures
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and adapt quickly
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in handling complex surgical equipment
